In 1924, Sohrab Desai’s niece, Manija, was at school in Bombay. She came to live with Meher Baba fourteen years later and was renamed by the Master, Mansari. Also in Bombay, at the time, was the Zoroastrian priest named Kaikobad, who, with his entire family, later came to live at Meherabad. Both Mansari and Kaikobad became members of Meher Baba’s mandali.
